January is time for weeding in the beds marked with red flags and soil reconditioning by adding compost or fertilizer where needed. Fresh woodchips are added to some of our pathways to help manage weeds and prevent erosion.
Download the chore report more details. Crop reports will be posted weekly beginning in March, when the new season begins. Check out our new videos on how to accomplishing seasonal chores that are on the list, and learn about Regenerative Organic Agriculture and how we use it at the Posh Squash. Comments are closed.

2026 Saturday Watering Sign up
Here is the link to the 2026 Saturday Watering page: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0C4BADA72AA6FCC52-61833127-posh As part of garden membership, each gardener committed to watering on one Saturday during the garden season (March 3-Nov. 14). Watering needs to be started not later than 10am on Saturdays. If you sign-up for a day and find that you cannot do it, you must find a replacement for yourself. In addition, please let your day leader know. The week prior to your watering day, we recommend that you tag along with your team waterer so you are familiar with the watering procedure. I also recommend connecting with the other people who signed up for watering on that day to coordinate. Please know that if it is raining, Saturday watering will still need to be done. Our seedlings under remay will need to be watered and depending on the amount of rain, other beds may need to be watered. if you have questions about it, please reach out to your Day Leader.
