 The Posh Squash October Harvest Picnic rapidly approaches and we decided that the food should be “finger food” and each family group or person should bring the dish of their choice to share. A lot of appetizers can be served with toothpicks. We feel that most of the food groups will be well represented without assigning different days to certain categories. There will be no electricity at the site to plug into for keeping food hot. Attendees need to bring their own utensils and cups for drinks. Compostable plates will be provided. Tables for serving and eating will be set with tablecloths and many will likely choose to carry a plate and mingle, and this will help with “distancing” for COVID. Attendees should also bring their own beverages and wine to share. Those who are uncomfortable with shared food can bring their own picnic meal.

2025/26 Winter Work Parties
The garden continues during the off season so we schedule winter work parties to help us get our beds ready for the 2026 season. If you want picking privileges in the main garden during the off-season, you must work two winter work parties. Note: Picking in the hoop house is not allowed. We meet from 10am-1pm and don't usually take a break. If the work party will be rained out, we will send an email by 9 am that morning.
