Posh Squash Wine Auction

9/23/2026

Greetings Gardeners!

I am writing well in advance of the Harvest Dinner Silent Wine Auction to share with you the eight lots that we are featuring this year.  This advance notice allows you to review the various lots and to share them with family members.
You will notice that the wine portion of the auction is for the first time, posted on line on an auction site called 32Auctions (visit http://www.32auctions.com/2026PSHDWA) which allows our members and families to learn more about the different wine lots and experience’s so that they can make well informed bids in advance of the auction itself if interested and also to continue the final bidding at the Harvest dinner.  Online bidding will end a day before the auction with the highest bidder and bid added to the bid sheets on the auction lot tables at the Harvest Dinner (Oct. 23.) I have provided a link and directions below as to how to register on the site.

This year's auction consists of eight exceptional lots.  In addition to high quality and awarded single bottle lots we are featuring winery experiences at four of Napa and Sonoma exceptional award winning wineries. In addition, some lots will feature added value items and themes such as  an Italian Dinner night for Four or a Gourmet Wine Party evening.

We are so very fortunate to have so many generous members donating special wines from their personal cellars and also to have generous wineries and community businesses supporting this year's auction.

Keep in mind that these eight auction lots would be wonderful holiday gifts for family, friends and business associates!  The Holidays will be upon us very soon so please keep this in mind when selecting the lots you would like to bid on.
A special note on the winery experiences.  For the most part these certificate's are valid for a year from the date of issue.  Please see individual certificates for details

The on-line registration process is easy and only requires you to provide your name, email, and create a password for your account.  Note that no credit cards or other personal information is required. Registration allows you to post your bid, for simple review no registration is required.  As this is a free site service there may be some ads included.  To scroll through the lots simply click previous or next.

To access this years pre auction visit:  www.32auctions.com/2026PSHDWA once in the site you will notice a highlighted light yellow bar which has a "create an account" link, simply press this and you are on your way.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out to me. My email address is [email protected] and cell phone is 707-738-1143
Thank you in advance for your support of this year's wine auction!

Best,
Dave DeBoer

    2026 Saturday Watering Sign up

Here is the link to the 2026 Saturday Watering page:  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0C4BADA72AA6FCC52-61833127-posh

As part of garden membership, each gardener committed to watering on one Saturday during the garden season (March 3-Nov. 14).

Watering needs to be started not later than 10am on Saturdays.

If you sign-up for a day and find that you cannot do it, you must find a replacement for yourself.  In addition, please let your day leader know.

The week prior to your watering day, we recommend that you tag along with your team waterer so you are familiar with the watering procedure.  I also recommend connecting with the other people who signed up for watering on that day to coordinate.

Please know that if it is raining, Saturday watering will still need to be done.   Our seedlings under remay will need to be watered and depending on the amount of rain, other beds may need to be watered.  if you have questions about it, please reach out to your Day Leader.
